FortisBC’s dual fuel heating system rebate helps offset the cost of installing a new electric heat pump with a new high-efficiency gas furnace. When you install a qualifying dual fuel system, you’ll have access to a reliable and efficient heating system to keep your home warm and comfortable, even on the coldest days — while also benefitting from cooling on hot days, and a system that is 100+ per cent efficient.

FortisBC is offering this rebate for customers who want a higher-efficiency heating and cooling system that can replace their aging gas furnace, helping to reduce associated greenhouse gas emissions.

Heat Pump Affordability Program Eligibility

As part of the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability program, low- and middle-income applicants could receive a rebate of up to $16,000 to switch to high-efficiency heat pumps in homes currently heated with oil or by electricity. For more information call today or fill out the form for more details.
